Taking the Yellow Line through Virginia is always kind of awe inspiring as a TOD fan.

There are 1000s upon 1000s of new apartments within walking distance of the Metro (the parking lot in the photo is also going to be two 350 ft apartment buildings).

It’ll take another 10-20 years to really settle in though - definitely a little soulless for now, if pleasant.
