Front view of dollhouse described previously in the first post of this thread.changed the rug making it round and red with a gray and white zigzag pattern across the middle. Also made a red handbag with a chain strap.

Right side changes to the bay window, made it with gray painted dowels instead of the wires the pattern called for. Also added an extra green and white pillow

Back right corner added colorful butterflies above the tree also created a “cloth” bag for the tree then filled the bag with gravel

Hated the wire railing on the loft so I ripped them out and enjoyed smushing and trashing them. Replaced them with a wood railing using skewers & clear pony beads for the posts and coffee stirrers for the railing. Totally different but I am much happier with how it looks and think it still fits the style of the project. Already wondering if something similar will work for the staircase as well. #wip #dollhouse #DollhouseKit

Update on dollhouse kit progress (more details in alt text) hopefully when the rails on the loft set I will be able to adjust them so the don’t look as bad as they do right now. If not, plotting possibly creating some type of additional vining plants to help hide how bad it really is. Started the mini dollhouse room kit my daughter bought me for Christmas, this one is going to be a beast. Lots of painting and wire work that I haven’t needed to do in previous kits in addition to the normal fiddly bits. Day 3 on this project and this is all I have got done other then many coats of paint on walls and accent pieces. Usually these kits take me 3 to 5 days total.
