@chrisgervais ok, I am going to check which model, I have downgraded to the 2.5 latest version.. also running slow... but much better. Will have to dig thru all the various versions for my ollama pull

@chrisgervais is it optimized for the M4? I am trying it on my M2 Max with 64GB of ram, and it is MUCH slower.

@danielsaidi have you gotten local models to work with it yet? my local ollama works great outside of xcode but keeps timing out from the Xcode interface.

So, I setup Ollama on my MacBook Pro and Mac Studio. Both are 64GB M2 Max machines. The performance difference on the Studio is extremely noticeable. Now if I can just get Xcode to correctly work with it on my MBP. #xcode #wwdc25 #Ai #ollama
