Telling people to “do your own research” when in reality it means embracing disinformation from uncredentialed wellness grifters trying to peddle non-proven alternatives, and ignoring decades of rigorous peer-reviewed work from scientific experts, will kill people.

Among other things, Meta is now making it mandatory to store voice recordings from their Rayban "smart" glasses in the Meta cloud, and making Meta AI's ability to train and see through your lenses "always on" unless you disable it each time manually.

Gonna be honest, any time someone with Raybans talks to me, I'm going to ask them to remove the glasses.

@ashtime @randahl I'm more concerned that the latest polling shows he still has over 40% approval rating in the US. Yes, that's lower than it was, but its far above the 16% I'd accept as mathematically reasonable.

While President Zelenskyy was in Kryvyi Rih mourning 9 children killed on their playground by a Russian missile, Trump's special envoy Steven Witkoff hung out with Putin who fired the missile.

Citizens of the US, you deserve better leaders.
