@harriorrihar So what you're saying is that both have extremely negative side effects that weren't immediately obvious?
Programmer/artist combo. One day I may actually finish a game.
@harriorrihar So what you're saying is that both have extremely negative side effects that weren't immediately obvious?
@harriorrihar I've said before that I think one day social media will be our generation's cigarettes.
Happy Sunday everybody! Just released a big update for my dice rolling roguelike over on @itchio

I dunno how I managed two big releases within a month. I need a nap. π

Shiny new update for my dice game "Roll or Nothing" is coming out this weekend!
This build will contain a new feature: boss rounds! Each boss round will have some mechanic or obstacle that makes meeting the round target just that little bit tougher. #gamedev #godotengine
This morning I released a new build of my dice rolling game Roll or Nothing! π²π
This version contains 3 new special dice types, some fancy new items and a whole host of improvements!
You can read all about it on the devlog here: https://miltage.itch.io/roll-or-nothing/devlog/897585/v04
This week is the 10 year anniversary of A Good Snowman is Hard to Build! βοΈβοΈ
To celebrate, the price on itch is now permanently "pay what the temperature is"
https://draknek.itch.io/a-good-snowman
What does this mean? Well, every hour the monster goes out to the weather station in London to check today's temperature. They set the price accordingly.
Now it's 9.7C, so the price is $9.70. In an hour it'll update again!
This is currently only available on itchio.
When I was a kid I probably imagined game development was all spaceships and explosions and cool aliens. Today I have been mostly holding a terrarium up to my face so I can recreate the look of compost.
Yesterday, after nearly 2 months of work, I posted an update to my dice-rolling rogue-like! Read all about it here: https://miltage.itch.io/roll-or-nothing/devlog/870478/v03
Busy reworking the items in my game. The idea is that they're all simple knick-knacks or doohickeys you can find around the house. I think the 3D icons work way better than the old 2D ones. #gamedev #godotengine
Whatβs next for Godot?
Our new Priorities page is a wishlist of improvements weβd love to see and where contributions, sponsors, and new devs can make an impact.

Over the weekend I released an update to my dice-rolling game, Fortuno. Fixed a bunch of balancing issues and added a couple new features too! Would love to hear what you think of the changes. Play it here β https://miltage.itch.io/fortuno
#gamedev #godot
@njamster Thank you! π I didn't have time to properly playtest and balance but there definitely needs to be an upper limit on how many dice you can own π€£
Over the weekend I made a game about rolling dice that requires equal parts strategy and luck! Play it here: https://miltage.itch.io/fortuno #gamedev
I did not make this.
I'm sharing this asset pack because I think it looks really good and I would love to see it being used.
@fufroom Gruvbox Dark Medium!
@adriaan I didn't even think about encrypting game builds as a concern, but I guess this would make clones and asset flips pretty trivial.
@Timeslip1974 Thanks! I posted this clip to Reddit and I got a lot of criticism about it being way too dark, so I'm going to work on improving that.
6 months of progress on my dungeon crawler in #godotengine! A little bit of work every day adds up over time and I'm proud of how far it's come.
Who's hungry? Food Kit has been updated! Additional details + optimized β¨ 200 models of food from many cultures, for the low price of $0.
