@cm0002 noscript and ublock origin comes to mind.
there's a filter for ublock called block outsider intrusion into lan, that might help.
for the sensitive information:
local time: every web browser sends that. you can try to enable "privacy.resistFingerprinting" in order to spoof your time zone as UTC.
OS and version: your can use an extension or create these values in about:config:
general.useragent.override - overrides your browser's user agent, which includes your browser's version and OS
general.oscpu.override - overrides the OS+version (for example Windows 10). this value gets sent via javascript. most of the websites does not use this value and it's really rude to fingerprint a user like this, but some of them still do use this.
idk with the other info, I bet it's webgl related.
@Natasha_Jay oh dear
@truls46 I'm not sure I want to register there or login using eidas
Yeah I'll have the uh.. EFI Shell with a diet coke
Two years ago, the son of a friend of mine was killed in an officer-related shooting. The police held his phone as evidence, but they've now released it to my friend. He doesn't have the PIN to unlock the phone, but a cop gave him a dump of whatever data they were able to siphon off the device without unlocking it.
He asked me for help. Looking through the data, I was able to figure out the PIN and unlock his son's phone.
On one hand it's scary to see what cops can get off a locked phone.
