@nick ... like the university where some suddenly become professors, while others create new institutes. :) According to Permaculture Association Britain only 10 % go from an introductory course to a PDC and only 10% go to the Diploma in Applied Permaculture. I don't see any pattern other that the quality of the teaching process and quality control is working. Only some few teach - and only some few are really good teachers.

automated passive solar floor heating for the green house is nearly ready. The passive solar air heater is still missing the black metal sheets, which need to be cut. The automation already works - nearly. The fan starts when the temperature difference between the heater and the floor is 10°C.
