I dont really post this, but since Mastodon works better than other sites for reach, I’m looking for #UXResearch #Internship opportunities. I’m a current UX research intern for a startup-like tech company, but with the way things have been going, I’m in search of a more experienced mentor. My UX research work and findings (that I conducted alone without any guidance) were used to launch and direct usability studies (due to NDA, that’s all I can say) but I wish I was given further opportunities as promised to do more with my own research instead of it being taken and used by others. I’m currently working on my own academic psychology #research exploring the effects of minimap design on cognitive mapping in 3D maze games!
I’ve recently applied to Nintendo and Activision and got really close to landing those internships, I’m not giving up.
I’m hoping if anyone knows of any open positions that I can apply to, I’d greatly appreciate it!

In 1938, kindergarten teacher Helen Hulick wore slacks to court to testify as a witness in Los Angeles, CA. Judge Arthur Guerin was appalled & rescheduled the case, instructing her to “return in a dress.”

The next day, Hulick showed up in slacks again, declaring, “I will stand on my rights…I like slacks. They’re comfortable.”

The goal makes sense but the way it was executed does not (e.g. why not change the username or bio to make clear it is a crosspost bot?)

@dragfyre that may be the intention but now that people from these Twitter accounts are increasingly moving to the fediverse it’s leading to (quite reasonable imo) impersonation concerns
