Ever fallen in love with a comic, only to find out it got canceled because not enough people supported it? We don’t want that to happen here.
Truth is, creating comics is a labor of love, but love doesn’t pay the bills. Without financial support, even the things you cherish can fade away. By joining our Patreon, you’re getting awesome perks AND you’re keeping this comic alive. If you love what we do, help us make sure it persists. Your support means everything.
Welp, that's the equivalent of the iron ore removed from 69 Hull-Rust mines (the largest iron mine in Minnesota).
Incredible new #JWST deep field (120 hours!) released by folks from ESA/NASA Webb teams.
Not only is nearly everything in this image a galaxy (the two spiky stars are not), but those curved arcs are images of galaxies beyond this cluster, which are projected and warped into our view thanks to the power of gravity!
It's called a gravitational lens. To visualise what's happening, take a look at this diagram.
There are distant galaxies that we can't normally see. There's also a galaxies between them and us, with lots of mass.
This mass warps space-time and bends the distant galaxy light towards us so we see them.
I am amazed. You should be amazed. This is a really epic image.

Five years into this, and I still am unable to understand what the origin of the virus has to do with defending against it. The (lab leak, anti-vaccine, "it's just a cold") Venn diagram seems to be a lumpy circle.

The first part of those videos - that show you what NOT to do? Yeah, just news clips, now.

On the bright side, we may get to enjoy some more of Cecily Strong on upcoming SNLs.

Version 47 of the US government is the "cost-reduced" model. You know: fewer features, far less [institutional] memory, not as many useful services, assembled with inferior components, with poor customer service.
@evacide
The US govt will soon hit the debt ceiling, the GOP-led Congress will crap the bed, per recent historical precedent, and these code changes will crash in the face of the reprioritizations required by Treasury in that event. No time/need to read requirements if one is 20 and knows everything!

Does streaming media support the high-quality soundtracks of spectacle movies? That's why I like to buy discs.

Sure it is, but I think S/He's saying, "Don't rush it."

We recently did the 8-hour course, online. It took less time than that, but 4 is even better.

I don't believe that Japan was "dumping" at the time, but were hella efficient (politicians of the day disagreed). Today, there is both industry to protect and dumping to defeat, so maybe both policies should be in play.
