Shit, I gotta move instances I suppose. I only get like a quarter of the posts for certain hashtags, compared to another instance I just tried. Federation is hard, I know. But it won’t help if I can’t discover content.

Next to the illustrated use case of having a resilient channel between network experts, I’m thinking about establishing resilient communication in a #solarpunk way. So local IRCs, intra-connecting a local community as the foundation. But inter-connecting those communities with each other on top of that.
Would that work?

@SolarDavy it is just a regular cafe here, so I just know by living here. Basically, it is outside, their yard is full of old or scrap chair + tables, which are organized in a way everyone has enough space. The whole atmosphere is easy going and chill. Drinks and food are self service. And they have a nice outdoor clay oven for pizza, which always reminds me of medieval style communal bread ovens (if you are familiar with that). Ah and they have compost toilets.
