@autolycos good suggestions! Have thought about forceps a few times too. I should grab a pair!

@Nerdfest that's reassuring, hopefully this is an uneventful one for me.
Picked up a shawarma on the walk home from getting my COVID shot. A suitable reward!
Really they should cut out the middleman and just issue you a shawarma at the same time as they give you the shot.
@darwinwoodka my doctor is typically disinterested too, though thankfully I can get it on a walk-in basis at the local pharmacy. And still free, yay.
@Aussiemandias I'm curious to see. I've heard a few first hand accounts of reactions this time - a 24hr discombobulation sort of thing.
My very first COVID vax was like that, but I've been fine with them since, other than the sore arm for a couple of days.
A bit uncomfortable this time! Not the jab itself, as that seemed okay, but I had a bit of a jolt from what must've been the juice going in.
Perhaps the 5G reception will be extra effective this time.
Okay, that was quick. Got the jab and I am presently in the post-poke pause period.
Finally out to get an updated COVID shot. It's been about eight months I guess. Tried to get the new one in November but I was apparently under the threshold date for my pharmacy.
@GustavinoBevilacqua haha, yes. Invariably everything I drop ends up under my workbench. I need to add a kick plate.
Perhaps among the most useful items in a #workshop? I've just re-ordered new palette knives and dental picks to replace some broken ones among the set I keep in my #toolbox.
Finding both crucial in the guitar repair/resurrection project now underway. They're inexpensive and when handy you find they have a thousand applications.
The dental picks were of great use in my long-running deck rebuild last summer, making disassembly much easier as I could clean out screw-heads for good grip.
@arstechnica good round up!

@david_megginson nice desk piece!
@ninawillburger beautiful. Can't help but speculate that it had a little disk at the centre with that same concentric-circle motif on it, but it got knocked out.
Perhaps it's in some other museum labelled as a game piece or something. 😂
The Huge AI Blocklist by Laylavish looks to be abandoned 😦
Fear not! just-a-husk has cloned and is maintaining a list . Additional benefit is that it's now on Codeberg and not :sloth_sick: github :sloth_sick:
:BoostOK: :boostRequest:
The :uBlockOrigin: list is now https://codeberg.org/just_a_husk/uBlockOrigin-AI-Blocklist/raw/branch/main/list.txt
@samuelpepys oh man, poor Susan. Not much worse than being 17th century ill, unless it's 16th century ill. Hope it's not plaguey.
