Very excited to see that Phillips has started releasing 3d models of replacement components to 3d print. The emissions savings of using recycled plastic to 3d print instead of having a component ship from China could be as high as 60%, and the emissions impact of replacing an out of production component and not buying a new razor could be >90% (plus rare earths savings)! Very happy with Phillips and hope more companies follow suit. printables.com/model/1289421-p

@montpellibre, this could be a nice place to register !

Oh! I was thinking this in the wrong way; "a RSS app would probably easily open Gemini URLs, but not grab the feed over Gemini". And then find the atom feed in the capsule 😅.

@reidrac, do you know an Android feeder app with support for Gemini ?

@reidrac

I do :)

Not very often, though, as RSS is so handy and brings me to your http blog. I wonder whether RSS clients would work with Gemini URLs 🤔

Is this related to the Thomson EF934x family ?

A soundcard does the trick. I find `castool` from the Mame project very useful to convert k7 files to wav 🎉

Today in "Resurrecting obscure computers from the 8-bit Cambrian explosion of the early Eighties": this Philips VG5000µ is back in business.

Also sold by Radiola and Schneider (in white), this very French computer was designed by La Radiotechnique (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radiotec). It sports a Z80 at 4 MHz and, as its sleek chassis proudly proclaims, 24 KB of RAM (and an 18 KB ROM). It has tape and cartridge ports.

Notice the mad keyboard layout (with accents! 🥳 ).

It's a bit of a goblin. I love it.

J'ai le sentiment qu'une forme de communication strictement unidirectionnelle s'importe dans le fediverse. Il est à craindre qu'un désengagement s'opère autour de ce genre de comptes.

@mmu_man

Savez-vous s'il y a une vidéo de cette présentation ? Je ne l'ai pas trouvée 🥺
@pulkomandy, ce PoC, c'est vraiment très fort !

To Major Tom

The image shows a single "Ctrl" key from a keyboard lying on a rough, textured surface, likely asphalt or concrete. The key appears to be detached from its keyboard and is positioned at an angle.

I messed up some inventory settings in my shop. Some prints were marked as sold (they aren't) and some weren't marked as sold (they were). I think I've fixed it all now (I hope!). Sorry about that!

TL;DR The pen plot you wanted might still be available! Try again? Thank you!

A pen plot of concentric left and right diagonal lines of tightly packed CMY strokes, giving the look of something woven.A pen plot of concentric overlapping arcs in grouped in a 2x3 grid. Internally the groups are interconnected and around the perimeter the groups end with random length strokes that look like loose threads or tassels. The strokes are comprised on CMYK pen strokes and overlap and mix to create many colors that stretch from one group to another.A pen plot of Truchet tiles of overlapping, concentric arcs in a large portrait orientation grouping, swirling around the page in primary CMYK inks but mixing to create secondary colors. The four sides of the group extend beyond in random lengths like tassels.A colorful abstract pen plot of elementary cellular automata, overlapping and streaking diagonally down the page in CMY ink strokes. There are lots of small triangles created from various automata. There are patches of deep magenta, green, blue, and yellows.
