@geffrey I think #Obsidian is a beautiful piece of software, but my brain is wired for #LogSeq style namespacing. Linking and organizing notes in one action is easier for me. I can't wrap my mind around a folder structure. I still keep Obsidian updated and ready to go because it's just beautiful and has lots of possibilities.Of course it took me learning them together to decide on LogSeq even before I knew _why_ I ended up with LogSeq. I still also really like #Tana and #AnyType @pkm@discuss.tchncs.de @pkm@chirp.social @pkm@a.gup.pe

@ednico :ablobwave: I'm so late and so excited to see this! I'm very happy to be able to watch these apps develop so rapidly. In the meantime I'm heading to tana.pub/

So good to see some of my favorite people like you, @spinningthoughts @EpiphanicSynchronicity @TfTHacker @pkmbeth @fundamentalised

:ablobwave: Welcome! Lots of @obsidian fans here & #pkm bloggers too!

Excited about the #PARAZETTEL parazettel.com/ product too! Saves lots of work for setting up an #Obsidian vault.

Believe it or not, the vault structure was my biggest obstacle in using Obsidian.

As a result I've over-linked everything in my vault.

This gives my #LogSeq "namespacing" brain 😅 some direction and guidance.

@photon when I started my @pkm journey, it was @joplinapp hands down because of the syncing&mobile app, @obsidian is the most alluring and beautiful, and now @Logseq is my daily driver. @anytypelabs @capacities and @tana_inc are regularly used because of their capabilities. @anytypelabs is a beast for its offline access and #IPFS protocol. I am a huge believer in redundancy too, so there's that. Separate, identical vaults for the win. If I need a file, I can access it from multiple apps/vaults.

@EpiphanicSynchronicity Thank you for pointing this out. It's a very useful tool to have available.

I am excited about the nested tags. I think lots of people use @drafts on the go because it's snappy, reliable & good at what it does. It has lots of hidden gems of functionality and I think they should toot their own horn more.

I appreciate #pkm #tft apps on their own merit and don't need them to try to become another app. Progress should be a natural path. @pkm@a.gup.pe @pkm@discuss.tchncs.de @pkm@chirp.social @obsidianmd @logseq

Just wanted to share this gem. I first learned about @rjnestor browsing @TfTHacker 's posts. Amazing changes for my productivity! [not a solicitation & I'm not being compensated]. There's an upcoming Applied Action-Powered Productivity Cohort 10 Workshop click.convertkit-mail2.com/8ku= . These workshops include a Tana invite, though Tana is *not* required. Check these out to get a better sense of the vibes: community.rjnestor.com/c/ap-pr and medium.com/@r.j.nestor/product @pkm@a.gup.pe @pkm@discuss.tchncs.de @pkm@chirp.social @obsidianmd @logseq

@EpiphanicSynchronicity In the spirit of your earlier comments about being able to open your @obsidian notes in any markdown editor, the venerable #NotebooksApp notebooksapp.com/mac/ is on sale (directly from them). I don't know much about the app, but it seems rather elegant and has some great features re: internal links, wikilinks, backlinks, link management, free iCloud or DropBox sync, opens fdx #FinalDraft files, etc. I am not affiliated, just fascinated by @pkm@a.gup.pe @pkm@chirp.social @pkm@discuss.tchncs.de

@dja @pkm@a.gup.pe @ednico @pkm@chirp.social As a person who is *supposed* to be writing a lot of equations, this is a major pain point. I thought at least @rem_note #Remnote would have it since they are marketed to students.

Is there some software/design issue that makes it untenable? It is going to be very painful waiting until I have done my "work" before I can jump into my #pkm #tft and "take notes." In T-8 days, it's back to @goodnotesapp #GoodNotes 🙄 which will never be as exciting as @logseq or @obsidianmd .
