We discuss their tastes & inspirations, how they coll...
Lots of cool stuff coming to #Angular in an hour and a half, don't miss it!

After 15 years the keyboard in the back needs some TLC (dome replacement and new gasket). I’ve got all the parts, just need to find the time. Is this something you’d be into reading about on the blog?
@pirijan Definitely interested! 🙂
Is that a Heavy Grail? Looks really nice!
Who's excited about observables in the browser like I am?
#reactive #observable #rxjs but not rxjs
Programming should be simple
4 years after Deno 1.0, the next generation of JavaScript is ready for production at scale.
Deno 2 is out today
🐢 Fully backwards compatible with Node and npm
📦 Package management and node_modules and package.json
📅 Long term support
@callionica Haha yes that is a great scene. There are so many funny things going on and the whole rhythm and flow is fantastic.
For some reason I found the feint grab of the Not-Coffee and the line "Setting up Typescript is an easy 47-step process" quite funny. But there are so many good jokes, I almost couldn't process it at first. 😅
The new #deno spot is an absolute masterpiece! 😂🤣

I didn’t see that coming, and it made me laugh so hard. 🤣
Kudos to everyone involved!
I’d be surprised if it doesn’t accelerate the Deno hype train to supersonic speed.
It also reminds me of some other commercial or music video or in-game sequence but I can’t figure out what it was. If someone has an idea, please let me know. 🤓
Coplien, James O. “Foreword.” In Clean Code: A Handbook of Agile Software Craftsmanship, by Robert C. Martin, xix–xxiii. Upper Saddle River, NJ: Prentice Hall, 2009.
"Quality is the result of a million selfless acts of care—not just of any great method that descends from the heavens. That these acts are simple doesn’t mean that they are simplistic, and it hardly means that they are easy. They are nonetheless the fabric of greatness and, more so, of beauty, in any human endeavor."

Switched my main focus to https://github.com/m3tti/borkweb #babashka `s first webframework. Goal is to create something rubyesque but for #clojure batteries included. #nobuild #cljs components with (p)react
Finally got around to soldering the chiffchaff proto. Most time was spent deciding on which layout to go for... So happy I can use this fantastic case by Bubbleology again!

@pepelsbey I don't think it is the right choice for me. But thank you.
@closingtags
I still think that might be the direction I'm going but it would be a oneway communication channel and I would be placed in the center as an obligatory point of passage, which I don't think is ideal philosophically and from a practical point of view.
Also making people aware of the meetup and the RSS subscription option would be way less efficient and probably much more selective in its reach than I would like.
But I think there are a few interesting suggestions in the replies.
@closingtags Haha, yeah. I know that thought.
But then again, I really don't want the burden of any user data and the security and legal obligations that come with it.
I thought about just setting up a simple page with an RSS feed for the events that anyone interested could subscribe to and unsubscribe if they loose interest without me storing an email address or some user account data and providing a way of deleting it on request etc..
@ruben That is nice! Thanks for sharing!
@carstingaxion That project looks cool.
So, if you have a Wordpress site, you can install the plugin and start organizing away? And it would run on a WP instance I "provide" instead of using a shared gatherpress.org instance so I would not spam the WordPress crowd with WP-unrelated meetings, correct?
If I got that all right, it still might still not be, what I am looking for (not sure yet) but it is definitely a nice project! Thanks for bringing it up!
