Has anyone ever had a #NintendoSwitch battery replaced? Had mine serviced but the “new” battery drains about as fast as the original plus in system info it has the exact same serial number. That doesn’t seem right…

I just finished up Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia on the Nintendo DS.

Really loved it, I think it might be my favourite Castlevania game on the DS, beating Dawn of Sorrow. I wasn't too keen on the separate map structure of this game at first, but it really grew on me. Very convenient for nipping back to town.

Mostly, this game reminded me how accomplished the DS was at 2D pixel art games. And the second screen is perfect for games that need a map.

I've been having trouble with the software buttons using GrapheneOS on my Pixel 9. I can't say exactly when it broke, but after an update a few months ago, the buttons would "sometimes"™ have an insane delay of half a minute or so. None of them would react and suddenly they all triggered at the same time (go to home, back and show all recent apps).
I haven't looked at the issue tracker, not even sure if anybody has reported that. I just quietly hoped that it would go away again.
I've switched to gestures this morning and everything works fine.
I'm not happy about the switch, but it works surprisingly well. The only thing I'm dreading is going up a bunch of menus by sliding in from the side multiple times.
What the hell was wrong with software buttons anyway? 😩

Decided to take a break from conquering Azeroth, and thought it would be a good time to immerse myself in some post-apocalyptic environments.

...I faced heavily overpowered enemies. That way I found out that you have to apply jobs and abilities to your party and that there is even a comprehensive ingame encyclopedia explaining everything. Nobody tells you that during a tutorial or so. 😅

Also glad that I chose to play the enhanced version offering the controls and features I'm used to from Triangle Strategy. The undo function I feared actually doesn't apply to whole turns but only to the movement phase, same like in Triangle Strategy.

I'm a couple of hours now into Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles on Switch 2 and it brings me the same addicting gameplay like Triangle Strategy. ⚔️

They share the same mechanics and rules on the battlefield. Didn't know that, but Triangle Strategy seems heavily influenced by the Final Fantasy Tactics original from 1997. Final Fantasy Tactics even seems to offer more complexity in the field of strategies and tweaks. 🔀
