I am almost there!!
My #running goal is completed.
But my fundraising goal is so close! There is still time to donate, if you wish to do so and have the ability to. Any small amount helps. The funds go to the great #montreal children's hospital Ste Justine foundation.
I am deeply grateful to all of you who already donated, and everyone else who considered it. π

@TheBreadmonkey have a good one
@benteg Sounds like a good session to me πͺ π
@rjayasinghe i was mentally picturing a smaller bike, so that is not to bad.
I doubt people really noticed much about the running gear
Half marathon training
Week 23, run 1/3
Today I ran along #bicipolitana n.3, 8 and 9. I came to a field track and did two loops of the external park alley.
The whole route wasn't flat, there were a couple of underpasses and bridges, but I didn't have to cross the road even once.
It was a very needed physical movement after yesterday's dinner with so much delicious food inside my belly π
@s1m0n4 Looks a nice run, love that bridge, really say's 'please run across me.'
Now the question i have (though i am not sure you will know the word, but here goes)
Did you scrump some of those Lemons? π
@rjayasinghe 'rode the kids bike home' why have i got a mental image of a grown man on a tiny bike, right now
Heute frΓΌh 2 LΓ€ufe. Erst Elterntaxi zur Schule. Dann Kinderrad nach Hause gefahren und noch mal los um ein paar mehr Kilometer einzusammeln. π #running
@woollypigs No, i can confirm that to be true
@woollypigs No, those bruised ribs were not at all funny, I am more mindful of checking what is coming up now, than maybe I was before
Finally, after 25 years, I am using WAP on a Nokia 7110, the phone that got me obsessed with WAP. I still have the pamphlet promising a cool WAP future.
This is very special. The 7110 is pre-GPRS. Before GPRS, WAP access was via CSD, which most providers turned off at least a decade ago.
Thankfully, this is one of the few phones supporting WAP-over-SMS, which is just as cursed as it sounds. All thanks to the work of @manawyrm and @maartje, who is hosting the gateway.
@NigelNotNeil That is horrific...and the perfect excuse to run to the shops.
Have to say, that is a great advert for Yorkshire tea...will literally run for a cuppa! They should give you a years supply at least
I said a little incantation to the sun goddess at sunrise this morning to grant me the inner peace to let me get my story edited and finished, and boxed off...
I'll try anything at the moment to try and get my ass into gear, this story has been unusually problematic at this stage, more than others.
@NigelNotNeil omg...you ran out of Tea!
@woollypigs yeah I wish...I could've kicked myself, but then I'd have just fallen over π€£
@Johan_Barelds yep, always in Malta....this is the North East side of the island.
@NoisetteDor Ooo now that is a nice memory. That Syncline track is a really nice, chilled and jazzy liquid drum and bass track. It was a most enjoyable tune to listen to before bed last night.
@xtaldave Thanks, I wondered what happened...I went to bed early, so I could run this morning.
So that is the 3rd iteration of the version 2 starship that has failed now - that is a design fault! It was a design fault when it blew up the first time, and they've literally not learned a thing.
They should have stuck with the version one ship which spacex splashed down twice successfully, though that was when the booster kept failing.
