A short collection of American flags at today’s #NoKings rally in Santa Monica.

As we were getting the stuff out of the car to go to the rally I put a little American flag in my cap and my youngest said: “dad, they’re gonna think you’re a trumper” I’m taking it back from people who suck, I told her.

After the rally she said she was glad to have seen so many flags.

Today I tried my first shopping trip on a bike because we only needed like half the groceries we usually do. Attached two panniers and a handlebar basket and took all the cloth bags I have. It worked out fine. Had to pass on the watermelon :( I think I’ll look for a cart I can attach on the back next time. Was more pleasant to bike and see stuff and hear things than be stuck in a hot car even if it’s for 10 minutes to the store.

@ai6yr hows the paint smell? I wonder if my neighbors would complain if I started doing this 🤪 so far they don’t complain about the woodworking but that’s because I use mostly hand tools.

@loudfpv thanks. Yeah that was the first site I went to because it’s helped me find other errors. That’s why I initially tried the SID chip but didn’t seem to be the case.

Removed CID to test same problem. Am not noticing any heat on the CIAs but that’s as far as I know how to diagnose.

:( sadness. I started my c64 this afternoon and it loaded up fine. Typed load * etc etc and got an error that I didn’t pay attention to. Restarted the machine and now all I get is a quick garbage and then the READY prompt, fast flashing cursor, and can’t type.

Tried a dead test cartridge and passes all tests. Loaded a game off of a cartridge with kung fu flash and that plays fine too.
