StarGrid's hi-res mode now also working! Running here in a 320x480 resolution (Tungsten T3, T5, TX). Colors look a bit over saturated in the video, but looks fine on device!

Can't forget about all those grayscale devices either. A range of 16 grays is nice, but you have to ensure there's always a big enough contrast between them.

Added a 'Warp to home' option in StarGrid for #palmos
This replaces the 'cloak ship' option, not seeing the enemy ships making any moves was making it somewhat frustrating to play.
Getting close to an alpha build!

My fully assembled RC2014 Mini II Picasso limited edition kit fully assembled and in my hand. The PCB is populated with lots of chips but everything is at odd weird angles and the whole board looks pretty abstract.

StarGrid: Shaving of the kilobytes! Instead of writing a new subroutine to pan the camera over from one ship to the next, I reused the already existing camera setup that's capable of following a ship around as it moves. When switching to the next ship, it just creates an invisible ship on top of the previous one and moves it to the next ship. #GameDev #indiegame #palm #palmos #pda

@inlovewithpda one of my favorite pda’s. Just wished it had a universal connector so it would fit in a cradle.

@trezzer totally right, it's the ghosting effect that I meant

Not all Palm PDAs were created equal. I recently acquired some Treo 90 devices, and the screen tearing significantly diminishes the gaming experience (which likely wasn't their intended use anyway). In contrast, the M505 has no screen tearing issues at all. #palm #PalmOS #pda #retrodev #stargrid

@vincenzo Soon! Hope to be only weeks away from a beta version (no menu system, no game config options, one map, just drops you right into the action)

@zxm @inlovewithpda I very much think the 72s (same but just silver) was released to avoid the issues with the blue skin peeling off the original 72.
Can take acceptable pictures though as long as it’s bright out: quarters.captaintouch.com/blog

Every new game needs an icon. At least that can be checked off now. #Stargrid #PalmOS

@BluRaf probably my favorite Palm device together with the Tungsten C and the Zire 72s.
