'Round the Valley is part of the #QueerGamesBundle! For the price of a AAA game, you can have around 500 games (including this visual novel in which you're also the literal train driver thinking of leaving the valley you grew up in!). Pretty good value, me thinks.

I made an apolitical game for an apolitical jam this month (Fuck Capitalism Jam) salut-c-leo.itch.io/in-a-blast

Solo gamedev when you're not that much of a coder is greatly simplified with Godot, and doing #leveldesign using func_godot + TrenchBroom is sweet!

Screenshot of a videogame with a sort of PS1 aesthetic. The screenshot is taken in front of the entrance of a factory, by night with a starry sky. The billboard on the left says "Esborian. A brighter future, today. Mérignel site." On the right, you can partially see tags on the wall about putting an end to the pollution caused by the factory. Far in the distance, you can see parts of the factory.

After 4 months of pre-production at Cnam-ENJMIN, here's the vertical slice of Ilham - In Life, Heart and Mind! It's an action-platformer about a young adult waking up in an ethereal world with their head shattered, scouring the world to find all the pieces.

You can download the vertical slice here: salut-c-leo.itch.io/ilham

The game I worked on this year has been accepted to IGF and alt.CTRL.GDC at GDC 2024 😳 igf.com/entry/2024/round-valle

Got nothing to do for the next 5 minutes? I have a very short game I worked on for you!

For the #LSDJam 2023, a jam where you make "dream emulators", here are 6 dreams from @vitia, myself and others. All contained in "I Went For a Walk"!

I'd love to hear your thoughts on it! Have fun!

Screenshot from the game. The camera is on a grassy hill, looking at a house in the distance. There are trees on the left, a Moai statue and the sea (with waves way too high for a normal sea). It seems the sun is going down.Screenshot from the game. The camera is in an empty street, with a large building block covering half the screen, and a wall made of stone and moss on the other half. Windows on the left can let us see a part of an apartment.
Léo boosted:

The game I've been working on for the last few weeks is finally out ! An experimental micro open-world where the only obstacle is your perception.

@amberage best you can do is try setting it up with Wine but it's really hit or miss. I'd recommend using Hammer++ which is a way more stable community version of Hammer, bringing QoL stuff to the table if you're into this developer.valvesoftware.com/wi

The desire to redo my portfolio site with a 90/00s design is strong... I don't know if it's a good idea though.

'Round the Valley, a student game I've worked on with 4 other people at Cnam-ENJMIN, is now available!

In this train driving game mixed with visual novel sequences, play as Amina, the last train driver of a secluded valley. After years of driving, she wonders to herself. Should she stay or leave the valley? Maybe listening to her passengers' stories will help her making a decision.

You can play now on Windows and Linux/Steam Deck: salut-c-leo.itch.io/round-the-

Cover art of " 'Round the Valley". You can see a train at the intersection of two railroads. Behind the train, there is a forest on both sides of the picture, a river on the right and mountains very far away. On top of one of the mountains, you can see a wind turbine.

Lately I've been working on a Godot game, main purpose being an assignment for Cnam-Enjmin, but also to familiarize myself with this engine (which really is growing on me). And maybe publishing it, so that I can have something else than Source mods in my portfolio. I'm doing some weird stuff for this walking sim.

Found out about this article "I Don't Want to Be an Internet Person", which is a sad depiction of what being "terminally online" does to the youth and a gloomy look into the near future in my opinion.

Hello there! I made a game (or like, made the #leveldesign on it)! In 4 days, at Cnam-ENJMIN! And people got to test it live!

It's a retro racing game where you collect items to pimp your car! And you can play it right now on itch.io! (Two controllers required, but seems like you can play with Parsec or similar)

Recycling my (upcoming) DOOM II map into a little town place with Hammer++ for a (upcoming) fanzine

A screenshot in-editor of a grey-blocked representation of a plaza at night. There's a fountain in the middle of the plaza, surrounded by some buildings.

I've been doing #leveldesign since 2020 and while I'm still a student, I can't help but worry that my current workflow (Hammer -> Unreal/Unity with a plugin) won't get me really far once I'll have to find a job, and I don't know if I'm right to worry about this

@yeti I used to use TinyTinyRSS but the web interface is very old, eventually I migrated to Feedly though I have no idea how it evolved recently (I stopped following news sources because of howmuch notifications it would generate)

Jabroni Brawl: Episode 3 came out last Friday and I want to write a blog post about it... This thing is so peculiar in our day and age.

It'll probably end up on the ENJMIN's website or on mine, if I'm motivated enough to set up a blog.
