The concern here is increasingly that false information is often free and easily accessible while credible news is behind a paywall.
This is more true if Google and Facebook start removing news from searches. This will propagate more false information and far-right misinformation, while hiding credible information.
I am terrified for what the future holds if credible news sources are increasingly harder to find.
In less than a week, the Not-So-Supreme Court has forced these personal beliefs (of theirs) onto the rest of us:
Only white people matter.
Only rich people matter.
Only straight people matter.
Only christian people matter.
Their bible matters more than our Constitution.
RIP Bill of Rights.
I wish I could say I'm surprised that the media is giving far more attention to billionaire adventurers (who were dumb enough to pay money to get in a sub built from spare parts) than they give to things like homelessness, rights being taken away, the climate crisis, rising bigotry and fascism, etc.

I keep seeing articles praising Memphis for how quickly (compared to previous murders by cops) the cops were fired and charged for murdering Tyre Nichols, and how quickly the video was released.
But I have yet to see one of these articles ask whether Memphis would have moved so quickly if those cops were white instead of black. (hint: it wouldn't have.)
A PD that has culture of violence which leads cops to beat someone to death, deserves no praise.
I don't always record myself playing along with a song the day after I started learning it, but when I do, I turn it way the hell up.
