Had a great time with friends and allies at Leeds Pride parade. Yes we got pretty soaked through but you can't have a rainbow without rain! Unexpected appearances from Bluey and a giant Jesus.

I live in an old house. There's a stone wall. I grow little alpine plants in the top of it. This sempervivum ruthenicum has suddenly flowered for the first time this year.

Two butterflies

My strawberries have turned out better this year presumably because of the weather. I realised that some woodlice have started to nibble into some so I decided to donate those to the woodlice and picked everything else that was more or less ripe.

I've been growing some mixed salad in a grow bag which means I can get fresh lettuce for lunch (the insects get some for their lunch too).

I ran one second faster than my fastest time this year at parkrun. Again. Thanks to all the wonderful volunteers and Run Director Pritti for making it all possible.

Last year I was given afternoon tea vouchers as a birthday present. We finally used them yesterday so we could have a little joy during dark times.
