@bart thats great. I’d like to try out too but still have not seen they mentioned an export option anywhere. I don’t want my journals stuck with Apple like Apple Notes if I switch to Android
@kepano it seems its only available on Paid accounts. I don’t see that tab on mine
@kepano Please tell me its coming to Mobile
@stereo how is your experience so far? Are you able to invite others?
@lehtimaeki I think their app is not ready yet. For example they only added reminders recently. Regarding the web version, they seem to have it running already. See here https://www.superlist.com/updates/superlist-goes-web
I’ve just got an invite a few days ago but yet to try it out despite having been waiting for a long time. I couldn’t find what their business model is and if I can trust them with my todo data. Totally don’t want to get locked in like MS To Do #superlist
A math teacher at Grand Valley State University used #Obsidian to create a course textbook with exhaustive linking:
https://publish.obsidian.md/mth225
I like this structure because you can easily dig deeper on any concept you don't understand. Very well done!
Quality software deserves your hard‑earned cash
the #obsidian site doesn't have analytics... we don't collect stats about pageviews or visitors, and everything works just fine
if you land on a 404, you can send us a message ☺️
TidyURL is a new bookmarklet I made
It removes unnecessary cruft in URLs such as UTM parameters and copies the link to your clipboard. This removes tracking info and makes links nicer to share.
You can get it here:

@joonhyeok_ahn @schnoots keep sharing. I’ll sub to your youtube channel
The plan for Obsidian is to never grow beyond 10-12 people, never take VC funding, never collect personal data or analytics.
Continue building with the assumption that software is ephemeral, files matter more than apps. Use formats that are open and durable.

@kepano @obsidian you are legend!
For people’s reference just add to your note
```query
Search terms here
```
All advanced syntax for search: https://help.obsidian.md/Plugins/Search
@obsidian will we be able to save these searches or embed search results into our notes natively (i.e. not using plugins)? That would be super awesome
here's an example of how you might use the composability of templates in #obsidian 1.4.3 to speed up your workflow:
1. Insert person template
2. Insert coworker template
properties are automatically merged (e.g. the tags #people, #coworkers)
one person can be many things, an author, a podcast host, etc, so you can use this flow to add all the relevant metadata for a person
... I have don't have meetings, but you get the idea 🙃
Interesting read: “Opinion: GOP leaders backing Trump are in a moral abyss” by Reverend Dr. Russell J. Levenson, Jr. https://edition.cnn.com/2023/08/01/opinions/trump-gop-leaders-republican-party-moral-decline-levenson/
@obsidian this is game changing foundation for something bigger. You guys rock
Is there a real world impact of attestation now for iPhone users (I used to be on WP/Android)? What if none of the scenarios mentioned comes true?
Shouldn’t we focus on attestation standards so smaller players can also participate? I certainly do not trust or want to use a little known browser unless they have been verified to be safe. Another example is that you can be fined to drive an illegally modified cars on public roads.
