I had a quiet strong reaction on the feelings I get for how I'm treated as a #neurodivergent person by the #Finnish #childservices as a #parent.
I took some time but still in the end I have the same thoughts.
I'm supposed to mask my behavior so I'm not misunderstood? Am I a bad parent if I don't mask, am I a bad parent if I don't shut up if I have a problem with some of their actions?
It does feel that being different is a personal failure in #Finland, at least when it's the social services.

It's quite rude to tell someone to be quiet when they are just responding/arguing a point in a message. No idea how to say it better English isn't my first language.
I'm not disagreeing with core point of the message just that there are regional variations depending on the country you talk about.

@Dangerous_beans @aby I agree with that mostly but I wouldn't use the word white in there.
What means white in that context can vary across cultural context. Like I would consider people from spain white but in the US that wouldn't be the case.
But more important just because a person is white it doesn't mean that they are considered attractive. Beauty standards referring to body forms
have a greater impact that than skin color IMHO.

@pepecyb Mit Wayland ist das so eine Sache finde ich, es ist schwerer sich selbst etwas zusammen zu bauen da jeder seine eigenen Protokolle hat.
Was ich zum Beispiel bei KDE mag ist Kscreen. Es speichert die Zusammensetzung von jeder einzelnen Anordnung an Monitoren und wendet sie dann entsprechend an wenn du ein neuen verbindest. Auf X11 geht das ohne KDE window manager aber auf Wayland brauchst du den von KDE oder einen anderen der die gleichen Protokolle kann.

The first custom config was my #Emacs config that started as a few lines of lisp copied from the internet.
It grew as I got better up to a point where it required reworking to stay readable.
But at that point I got far enough to be able to redo it.
A thing I would like to have earlier if I knew is to use something like #yadm to manage my configuration.

@hyuchia IMHO the issue with these kinds of configs is that they are not made to be understood but they polished to be pseudo distribution but without any form of packaging quality that you would expect from distribution in Fedora/openSUSE or even Arches on packages, mentioning RPM based distributions first here since they require a higher level of polishing usually for enterprise usage.
If you want a custom config I recommend something that is designed to be understood, start small.
