Happens to the best of us. #Failed prints are inevitable. This has lots of thin fragile parts and the silk PLA has some layer adhesion weaknesses. Not sure if I should increase infill percentage, tweak support structure, maybe slice off the wings and print separately… all of the above? 😅 Thoughts?

Been working on using Bambu Lab’s lithophane maker as a base to then make some #minecraft textures. I was going for the Alpha lava block on this one as a request from a new subscriber on YouTube (I make 1 block for every subscribe). I need to find a way to get a good seal on the sides and have a better hinge point, as well as a self contained LED and not one from a lamp base. #stem #electronics #3dprinting #bambulab #games #steam #maker #youtube

In the hopes that we can have a casting party at the #makerspace this winter, we're going to start playing with 3D printable machinable wax for investment (lost wax) casting!
We're going to start with machinablewax.com, as they have some very complete technical data and printing advice to work with, but if you know of similar materials that work well with Bambu and/or Creality printers, let us know!
