And after excruciating pain, and lots of headache and even more delay (it took me a month jfc...) I managed to finish the second exercise of 3 point perspective with boxes!

This time I kept the boxes with one edge on the 3rd vanishing point line, to have less tilting and be able to work on less exaggerated shapes. I also tried to experiment a bit by trying to have the same box rotated under a specific far away point. It was interesting :)

1000 more boxes and I think I'll get hang of it!! Jokes aside in the last 2-3 boxes I didn't bother too much with finding the 2 horizon VPs very precisely and added some intuition to it and I _think_ that helps a LOT with the process without losing too much of having realistic and decently oriented boxes!!

Hello everyone, hope you're having a good week so far.

Can you guess the first weird plant drawing I'm working on?

For this one I'm drawing directly with ball point pens, no pencil sketch.

Ballpoints give me a wider range of tones. In my opinion ballpoint pens are closer to pencils than to pens. Ballpoints can give light grey strokes when you press very lightly.

Also, Weird Plants won the poll for new drawings. Spaceships was 2nd, still life night edition was 3rd and moody landscapes was 4th.
The plan is to integrate Weird Plants into Inktober. But the sketching starts in September.... I'll show some sketches as I go!
