I replaced the butter and egg with vegan alternatives. I didn't sprinkle them with sugar before baking, but I did coat one batch with icing sugar, which is very tasty, but makes them look less like the originals.
I forgot to mention that I added some red food colouring to the jelly. 😬 Without it it was rather pale as the color only came from the unrefined cane sugar and the cinnamon.

@eniko We have a 0.8l and it can be used for up to 4 cups which equals to 450-500g of rice. Enough for 4 people (including two teens) and we can make ~10 big rolls of sushi out of that amount of rice.
