Have an idea for a game that's not just another MMO or AAAAA Live Service....thing? How about interactive fiction based on Wikipedia articles? Maybe a FPS where you eradicate vandalism (bonus points if it uses the Wikipedia API to actually make changes!). Of course there's the potential for any number of (multiplayer?) trivia games and quizzes. Or put your imagination to work and think of something weird and original.
A full weekend of lightning talks, forming teams and writing/designing/hacking on games. Coffee, pizza and lunch for game makers provided. We'll even have opportunities to extend and remix games that have been created in past events.
Hosted by Bay Area Wikipedians Group and Wikihaus at Gray Area in San Francisco, with a grant from the Wikimedia Foundation.
