Eine wild ausgesuchte Quelle sagt 0,7kg CO² pro 100 ebike-kilometern, 13 bis 32 kg pro 100 Auto-kilometern. Sagen wir 14kg.

0,7 = 14 * 0,05, wenn also 5% oder mehr der auf dem E-bike zurückgelegten Kilometer sonst mit dem Auto gefahren wären und der Rest der Kilometer absolut null CO² Ausstoß hätte, macht das nach dieser Rechnung dennoch CO² technisch Sinn.

Repairing my discounter #ebike

I have a beloved, 12 year old e-bike I bought 2nd hand 2 years ago. I got a new battery, but this January something broke inside the motor.

I now bought a 2nd, 2nd hand bike, looks identical and is also broken, but this time it's the chain.

Tested the good front wheel motor, success! Tried broken motor on the other bike, plugs won't fit... Tried installing the good motor, too wide for the fork.

The 2 bikes may have not been identical after all.
