Aside from the mass displacement, which should shock and disgust anyone with half a heart, the blockade of aid to Gaza has signaled a fundamental shift in the strategy and effect of the operation.
In all other actions, Hamas has been labeled as the primary target. A hospital might be destroyed, but it was used as a base of operations for Hamas. A school might be used as a weapons depot. However sickening, one could therefore justify their destruction under the guise of attacking Hamas.
Moat agree that Hamas steals supplies from the population, and therefore Hamas operatives, soldiers, and their families are insulated from supply issues. They have food, medicine and fuel.
But with an aid blockade, the effect is the opposite. For the reasons stated above, it primarily impacts those *not* connected with Hamas. It hurts the civilian population most!
