@bryceac @Naate I'm using NixOS Gnome heavily, but only because Ubuntu had weird issues out of the box for me despite being an Ubuntu diehard for a decade. I agree that Mint or Pop is worth a look if Ubuntu doesn't strike your fancy for whatever reason. Ubuntu IS the most likely one to get working for games, mainstream support, etc, however, so I'd suggest trying it first if only to know why you're ruling it out.

@guardingpearsoftware obviously I can only speak to the website I manage but I can confirm that my gdpr plugin will actually not load Google analytics JS unless people click ok. Which has decimated my ability to figure out if my marketing efforts are paying off or shouting into the void.

There's a new-ish scam going around where scammers are posing as companies hiring people, but the condition to getting hired is that you pay for something/buy something/use something that requires you to pay.

It should be obvious, but it's not a job if you're paying them.

I've seen at least two people fall for that on various socials.
