@w7voa I understand reposting the headline but given the source and unknown factors at play with corruption of the Israeli government I would put a warning over any post regarding Israel because they are corrupt so you need to treat all organizations within territory control of the Israeli as suspect for association to Israel

@rbreich while I do agree with what you said I also tend to think that we need to answer the uncomfortable questions of how these systems contribute, continue and develop out these experiences of exploitation, racism and discrimination. I know the answer to the problem the more specific question is how can we as society set new cultural norms and practices that invalidate those systems that lead to those things ie capitalism and even US Government
I think we need to do the following
1. Land back for all indigenous peoples
2. Reparations for all black Americans
3. New constitution built by the people as diverse and if not more diverse and inclusive and equitable than even South Africa’s constitution which is the gold standard
4. Universal benefits
-Universal healthcare (includes abortion services it’s a human right)
-Universal income
-Universal education
-Universal housing
-Universal childcare
-Universal food ingredients
-Universal elderly care
5. Ban capitalism Ban Fascism permanently these ideals are not human and don’t lead to the continuation of rights

These are the things that would radically shift our society from a dysfunctional society into a less dysfunctional society
