Let's just say Danny Boyle's latest "28 Years Later" was not the movie I was expecting, but I liked it. And the ending was wild and something most who aren't British will miss the full irony of. Either way I'm now looking forward to the sequel which is due out in 2026. #DannyBoyle #28YearsLater
28 Years was maybe not a groundbreaking movie, but its soundtrack from Young Fathers (one of my favorite UK bands). Still looking forward to the sequel.

#28YearsLater just didn't do it for me at all. I really wasn't down for some of the more avant garde editing or much if any of the musical choices and more importantly it felt a bit underwritten (much of the character work in particular, which the cast seemed to struggle with). The most striking feeling for me was one of a kind of low level nastiness, which I really didn't care for; I don't mean dark (I'm fine with dark) just a bit, well, mean.
