Watched Alien: Romulus with the kids, their first time and they found it fun. Galaxy of Terror was crazy. F1 the Movie was enjoyable for the technical aspects of moviemaking. The Crash was a waste of time.

Trying to finish #AlienRomulus this late at night was not wise. In fact, trying to watch any #Alien movie before bed is probably a bad idea.

Alien Romulus gets a thumbs up from me. Some subtle callbacks to the origins of the franchise, some not so much. But a storyline that drew me in and a valued addition to the collection if you ask me. #AlienRomulus

This evening's viewing: Alien Romulus. A couple of mis-steps, but mostly a seriously solid Alien movie, and nice attention to detail (interiors, even making interfaces on the computers resemble the original from decades ago)

The film suffers from the same problem something like War Of The Worlds by Steven Spielberg suffers from. It is too good for its own good. You have so much dopamine from the good stuff that it overshadows any Norepinephrine from the scary stuff.
