Made a little case for the Spite Sprite (the Amiga composite/S-Video adapter I made). The notch is kind of annoying to print, but I needed the height to clear the capacitors and I needed it lower near the D-sub connector to clear the 500's case.

I'm also kind of curious - is this something anyone else would want? I have parts to build a few more (I only have crystals for NTSC, but if you have a 4.43MHz PAL colorburst crystal it does support PAL output). A little magenta box being held in a hand. It has a notch on one side near a 23-pin D-sub connector. There are some vents on the top.

The back side of the device has S-Video and composite video jacks.

The bottom of the device has four black wafer head screws.

The device plugged into the back of an Amiga 500. A black cable is plugged into the S-Video port.

I'm wondering whether to go all-in on a silly little coding adventure: a defrag simulator.

Some people find these satisfying to watch.

I can see a way for it to start simple, but then grow subtleties. Its current direction is targeting 16-bit and 32-bit look and feel, like Amiga fast defraggers.

It uses colours now, but I want to make it more accessible.

I also want to make it open source, when I won't be embarrassed by the code.

So one of the fun things about setting up a powerful homelab server is getting to run lots of local experiments. One that amazes me is Text-to-Speech. As someone who grew up with Speak'n'Spell, and #C64 and #Amiga Speech synths, I'm blown away by current tech, especially in the open-source realm.
