I started to try to convince customers and colleagues to move away from Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS, but where there is no experience, there is no expert available. No alternative that I can really provide. Is there someone who tries the same and can aid with some anecdotes? Where are the free and paid tutorials, videos and courses that tightens bonding and personal investment into alternatives?
@virginmedia it looks like there might be network trouble in #Northants! My #awscloud EC2 instance has lost its connection with my home PC.
I've recently (last few months) had several instances where #AWS says they are passing all health checks. But the serial console is not available, and the node is not responding to anything at all. All endpoints are down in the load balancers.
I've had to take manual intervention to terminate these instances so that the auto-scaler can bring up a new one and K8s can move the workload. Anyone else seeing this? This is us-west-2 #awscloud
