The Alabama GOP continues to ignore the Trump movement to abandon secretive, electronic election equipment, while the Texas GOP embraces it. The Eastland County Republican Party is the latest Texas GOP executive committee to abandon electronics and adopt transparent hand counting methods. They recently joined Hays County, Gillespie County, and Dallas County in their decisions to hand count the 2026 primaries.

Report on the 'Return to Hand Counting' booth at Evergreen's 22nd Annual Sausage Festival and Fly-In; Many conversations brought reference to every display in the booth at least once. Had opportunity to explain the new display of the simplicity of the enhanced Italian vote counting method several times. It seems people are more informed now and are looking for answers. Solution: Paper poll books maintained by the People of the precinct.
