Quick #FOSDEM recap:

The feedback on my Amber‑Lang light‑talk was super useful, and we’ve already started moving forward.

On the Italian Linux Society side, we’ve brainstormed several initiatives for our members; meeting in person always sparks fresh ideas and inspiration.

Next year’s talk? I did so many talk in the past in this event that picking just one won’t be easy (again)!

Rewrote a tiny BASH utility of mine in Amber just for fun. It prints characters from text on the clipboard, like you might be asked for when logging into some websites e.g. 3rd 5th and 11th from a password (GPLv3).

Amber was good - nice to have some type safety. Being able to pass arrays to functions with BASH is worth the cost of learning Amber alone!
