The only reason I’m not looking to emigrate yet is my son. SWMBO and I could work from anywhere, he will never work an hour of economically productive labor anywhere in his life, no matter the accommodations. The profoundly #disabled are not a set of people sought for immigration by any country. The Fascists would rather they just be cleansed from the Race.

I need to file legal forms at the county court for a long-procrastinated bit of formality.
Tried. Clerk says I had the wrong forms. I did the one for an “INCAPACITATED INDIVIDUAL” but there’s a DIFFERENT form for an “INDIVIDUAL WITH ALLEGED DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITY” Apparently got the wrong Dr. form too. I need the “PHYSICAL APPRAISAL FORM” not a “REPORT OF PHYSICIAN OR MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL”
I am at “cry in car, step outside to howl in rage” levels of collapse.

There's nothing so disorienting for a parent as a late-decision snow day. Especially fabulous with county-level special needs programs, where the school itself can be open while the buses are not running because the regular local district is closed.
I'm so lucky that Kyle handles every surprise as an adventure. Had him all dressed, fed, lunch packed and waiting for the bus. Which did not come.

He thinks it's funny that his school will only have teachers.
