here's a proposal response to the #ETNO folks still (still?) clinging to the #fairshare #bellhead "sending party network pays" model:

"value detracted tax"

It's like VAT, but the state fines VLOPs (very large online platforms: https://digital-strategy.ec.europa.eu/en/policies/dsa-vlops ) a fixed fee every time someone abuses their platform to perform criminal acts (hate speech, CSAM, etc). The VLOP gets the fine back when the illegal content & the user account are removed.
