#Bitaxe

I'm starting to get really proud of this little side project! Now that my #blockchain has finished syncing, I've been coding the worker side of my #Bitcoin node for Solo Miners distro. It is out-of-the-box ready to accept hashes from #Bitaxe and #NerdMiner devices, and of course you can point more powerful #ASIC at it as well. My goal is to provide a Bitcoin Blockchain node for #RaspberryPi that any solo miner can use, reducing the learning curve and helping decentralize the blockchain.

My latest appliance image for #RaspberryPi will empower tinkerers in helping decentralize the #Bitcoin #blockchain and #Mining #Hashrate while also providing a low-latency, trusted local node for #SoloMining #BTC with #ASIC like #Bitaxe. The fun part for me is in building a dashboard that I personally want to use, and then sharing it with the #OpenSource community! Super easy to setup and use, and super sexy to look at. I can't wait until I start implementing my ideas for the worker graphics!

Today I learned the signs of when needs to be replaced, and it only cost me $16 (or a new fan that I didn't actually need). 🤦‍♂️

started overheating and I couldn't figure out why. I blew the dust out of the fan and I assumed that I jacked up the fan. I bought a new fan and the issue still persisted. Finally, I took the heat sync off and noticed that the thermal past was kinda worn out.

I put on a fresh coat of thermal paste and amazingly, huzzah! I'm back down to cool!

If you're thinking about solo #mining #bitcoin DON'T get your #BitAxe from d-central.tech

As far as I can tell, they're a #scam. I ordered a single BitAxe Hex, 2 months ago, and while I can understand situations like supply shortages, what I will not abide is completely ignoring an inquiry about the delay. All I received was an automated response, nothing else. And there phone number has a constant busy signal, 24/7.
