One thing I've struggled with for my entire life was to give myself permission to NOT finish a book

It could be the worst fucking book in history, the most boring, annoying, or plain dumb, and I'll push myself to finish it because I always have to finish what I started or whatever

Then if that awful book is part of a series I have to actively fight myself to stop myself from buying and reading the rest of the series too
