『Bug Fables』は露骨に『ペーパーマリオ』の真似という感じのインディー系の作品だけれども、絵柄とか画面構成がマリオに比べて大分ヘナヘナで、それが「ヘタウマ」に昇華されているというわけでもないので見映えはあまり高く評価できなかった。物語などは続きを見ないとまだ判断できない。
