The alcove is situated within a narrow urban sidewalk or laneway, characterized by a dark floor and residing between the washed-out walls of two buildings. These walls serve to accentuate the colors of the images in the photo, highlighting the contrast between them despite the monochromatic theme of the photo.
On the left wall is a metal box railing attached directly to the building wall, positioning the box above the concrete step.
