#CAQ – They're a hateful party, with the typical ideology-over-their-own-best-interests behaviours.
Their attempts to push French language & other restrictions to the point of harming their own schools and universities, and so-called "secularism" laws that are just selective religious persecution.
Was surprised to see Quebec's premier Legault resign yesterday, with his party at rock bottom and an election not too far off. He'll stick around until a successor is chosen.
This seems like _exactly_ the sort of time they'd stick a woman in to replace him, for the full glass-cliff experience.

As a Montreal Anglo seeing this steaming turd of a racist mononcle resign is like discovering the best christmas present that somehow we forgot to open. There IS a Santa Claus!
Francois Legault lived and died by the sword on electoral reform.
Despite polling around 18% the #CAQ will likely to be reduced 2 seats at the next election, which is on track to be the least fair in our history.
He didn't even secure the short term win he was hoping for with his power hungry move.
Legault traded in his integrity and legacy for less time in office.
