I don't know who needs to hear this (apart from myself), but if you're rewiring your studio don't just put a label on one end of your cables to save time.
I just spent way too long troubleshooting a faulty cable that I *knew* was plugged into a drum machine, except it turned out it wasn't, because some doofus (me) mixed up the cables.
Making ALL TEH LABELS now!
