Happy Tuesday from Holly! Now leave her alone.

A rather grumpy looking calico cat with light green eyes and white whiskers lies on a blue fleece blanket and wonders, "Why don't you just leave me alone?"

Happy Friday from Holly! The weather is awful here - lots and lots of rain and possible flooding. She's very glad she's an inside cat now, even if her kittens drive her crazy.

A little nostalgia for warmer days earlier this year. 😺 🌞

Maisy is ready for the sun to come back!

A striking, low-angle close-up of Maisy, a beautiful Calico cat, taken on a bright, sunny day outdoors. Her face is the focal point, featuring the classic tri-color pattern with a dramatic split: her right side is predominantly orange/ginger, and the left is dark black. She has captivating green eyes that look directly into the camera, highlighted by the strong sunlight which also emphasizes her long, expressive white whiskers.

Maisy is perched on a weathered wooden table, which provides a dark, textured foreground. She looks down towards the photographer and the background is a crisp contrast of blue sky and the warm tones of orange/red brickwork bathed in sunshine.

A stylized logo in one corner reads "MAISY & CAPTAIN JACK" and the photographer's name "PAUL JACKSON", confirming the identity of this charismatic feline.

Holly (left), her son Riley (center) and her daughter Pepper (right) are all in a neat little row in a bay window enjoying the sunlight. They have a strong bond.

Happy Sunday from Holly! I laid down a throw and she immediately decided to take a nap on it. We had a norther blow in and today is supposed to be cool (tonight even colder). She's very glad she's a house cat now.

We Have the High Ground: A Cat's Guide to Robot Management.
😺 😸

@NyakoKitty would Neko approve of automated staff?

Maisy and Captain Jack, a couple of very attentive felines. 1 of 3.

In the foreground, the edge of a blue robotic mop is visible, which is about to start cleaning a kitchen floor. Two cats are positioned in the middle distance on the dark, tiled floor. On the left, Captain Jack, a striped grey tabby cat is poised by a white wall, looking directly at the camera (and presumably the robot) with a curious and slightly wary expression.

To the right of the tabby is Maisy, a calico cat, captured mid-step, looking off to the side, perhaps just starting to investigate the scene. White doors and white woodwork contrasting with the dark floor. The lighting is soft but clear, perfectly highlighting the cats' expressions as they observe the mechanical intruder.

In one corner of the image, a logo reads "MAISY & CAPTAIN JACK - by - PAUL JACKSON" providing context for the cat's names and crediting the photographer. Maisy and Captain Jack continue to watch on. 2 of 3.

The robotic cleaner is now fully visible and centered in the frame, sitting low on the dark, tiled floor. Maisy and Captain Jack have moved back slightly towards a doorway, perhaps preparing a tactical retreat. Maisy is bravely positioned ahead of Captain Jack, looking directly at the machine with a posture that seems inquisitive yet ready to bolt. Captain Jack is peering over Maisy's tail, eyes fixed firmly maintaining an interest in the situation.

The background reveals a bit more of the home through the open doorway, showing some furniture, a sofa and a table with some flowers in a vase. The image captures the shared focus of the two cats on the small, silver-and-blue device that has invaded their space, perfectly illustrating the mixture of curiosity and caution often seen when pets encounter new technology.

In one corner of the image, a logo reads "MAISY & CAPTAIN JACK - by - PAUL JACKSON" providing context for the cat's names and crediting the photographer.
Maisy and Captain Jack's surveillance, moves to a much safer, elevated position in the next room. 3 of 3.

The foreground is dominated by the back of Captain Jack, who is sitting by a sofa, with a blue and tan patterned throw. His body acts as a frame, drawing the eye towards Maisy. The perspective shows him looking intently at the robot mop in the next room through a glass-paned door.

In the mid-ground, Maisy is perched confidently on top of a scratching post. She is facing us with a disapproving expression. Her elevated position gives her an excellent vantage point, embodying a more composed and observational role. The background view through the glass-paned doors lead back into the kitchen where the robot mop continues its duties. This image highlights the cats' different vantage points to illustrate their ongoing, cautious supervision of the cleaning machine's activities.

Holly is annoyed because her overgrown son Riley disturbed her sleep by trying to nurse. He's way too old and too big (her size!) to be doing that. You don't get Mama mad!

Late #Caturday post for the #FediCats, #CatsOfMastodon, and all who observe,

Kitsune is a #Calico #cat who eats kibble by scooping a piece and dipping in in her water bowl before eating it from her paw. She never ate gooshy.

Recently, this changed.

I saw her scooping bits of gooshy, and eating it off her paw. This means that there are bits of gooshy that get dropped. They accrue on sides of the bowl, and on the floor near the bowl.

She's 13. I promise I'm not rolling my eyes.

I was looking through some papers and i found her old id. Turns out she’s been lying about her name and her age. Why?? How many more lies, “pumkin” how many?

A picture of a piece of paper showing vet information for a cat. On the left there is a small black and white picture of a calico cat she is being held up by someone and you cat see there hand. She looks unimpressed. On the right side it says: name, Pumkin. Species, feline. Breed, domestic long hair. Color, calico. Birthday, 5/25/2008. Age, 22 weeks and one day.
