@Wen do find it staggering most of these sort of things talking about the problem caused by the rise in long term sickness never mention impact of #lockdowns #Covid #LongCovid #CaringResponsibilies Where we are in rural #NorthYorkshire there is bugger all in the way of #MentalHealth services or support for #carers now. We work with many people with severe mental health issues who used to have a lot of professional help but due to staff leaving and cuts to services have lost their support from social workers or psychiatric nurses - we do a lot of advocacy trying to get appropriate help again. This is just desperate 'skiver bashing' to try and win a few votes.
