Here is a rare screenshot of #Cartero translated to Tamil thanks to a contribution received via Weblate that I've merged today.

To be honest: accepting translations scares me a little because it is difficult for me to validate strings if I don't know the language, but I guess it has to be done.

However, at the same time, it makes me happy see my precious child getting translated into more languages.

#Cartero now has a settings page. It is still fake and cosmetic and it doesn't work, but now that the difficult part is done (creating a new window is always fun with gtk-rs), I just have to add the intended application options and it'll be done.

Otro día que me voy tarde a descansar, pero al menos ya he empezado a meterle la pantalla de opciones a #Cartero.

Montar el diálogo y conectarlo es la parte más complicada. No espero ahora que meter el primer conjunto de opciones lleve mucho.

Una adenda a este hilo, porque GNOME GItLab ha vuelto a la vida. Y, efectivamente, ya están todos los iconos funcionando, así que #Cartero ya puede estar disponible como AppImage.

Paseito para completar el círculo de actividad del Fitness y me pongo con el script que crea el #AppImage de #Cartero, que tiene que estar subido a GitHub antes del viernes.

Yesterday it was a bank holiday where I live, so I made some enhancements to #Cartero, the HTTP client that I am writing using #GTK and #Rust.

It works better on macOS and Windows and there is even a script that builds nightly versions for those platforms using GitHub Actions.

The GNU/Linux version has received some love as well and it is finally possible to open request files by just opening the file from the file manager.
