#Cellcom, ein rural Carrier, wurde wohl gecybert. Dementsprechend scheint da gerade kein Voice oder SMS zu funktionieren.

One of my Discord friends is a customer of regional Wisconsin phone provider "Cellcom"... they've apparently had a text and voice outage for the past 2-3 days, but data works fine. What's weird is they keep giving "update" posts that lack any specificity and might be AI generated, and have made basically no visible progress on getting it fixed. (Updates posted here under "Previous Updates" - https://www.cellcom.com/service - and additional FAQs like "What is going on" and "Why can't I port my number right now?")
At this point I'm thinking, it's gotta be a cyber-attack, right? Somebody (or something - ransomware, etc) got in and destroyed a bunch of production computer systems, and they've got to go restore from untested backups or rebuild from scratch. What else could take so long and slow a rollout to repair? But they won't _say_ that. Really strange.
