[13:43] 12% rise in number of calls to Childline over Christmas
The Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children has said that 820 children and young people contacted its Childline service this Christmas, a 12% increase compared to last year.

I remember the first time I heard the jingle for #Childline - I never thought would need it. I remember Esther Rantzen talking about how Childline was set up for Children to have a safe place to talk to someone in their time of need. I can’t believe that you were there for me and listened to me for the first time in my young life. You may never know how much of a positive impact you had on me. Then, or right through to today.

NSPCC (Childline) wants troubled kids visiting YouTube when looking for support content - an online harms site that invades their privacy.
This flies in the face of their campaigns to protect children from online harms, leading some of the most vulnerable to one of the platforms that poses a high risk to them.
